  27. Just thought I would add that the driver's are only for revision 0x13 of the
  28. 8900C Chipset. There is another ROM revision that has a lower number that
  29. the server won't recognize. You can force it to trident by adding
  30. Chipset tvga
  31. into Xconfig.

  33. The video cards are programmed by direct fiddling with the registers on the 
  34. card, so the ROM revision makes a difference, as to what the card will do.
  35. Anything before the 8900C mapped things differently from what I was told,
  36. and it was decided never to support them.
