- In Boston, we use our access to the national list to advertise the local
- Professional Development seminars. We give six of these seminars a year,
- charge $70 + membership and usually get about 100-120 people per seminar.

- At the seminar, we have a special table at lunch where people who are
- interested in volunteering can come and talk about opportunities. We've
- been successful at recruiting 2 to 3 people per seminar.

- THe money that is raised by the seminar is then used for outreach and other
- new member recruiting activities, plus many other activities.
