  13. Alan Snyder has an article in the January 1993 IEEE Software magazine
  14. called "The Essence of Objects: Concepts and Terms" which is
  15. excellent.  After reading it I truly believe that FAQ should simply
  16. state something to the effect of "read Snyder's article."  Then the
  17. readers of this newsgroup wouldn't have to continue to wade through
  18. the endless (and mostly worthless) arguments over terminology that
  19. we've been subjected to lately.
