- Ok. I've tried to do this discreetly - Now I'll ask the world
-
- We have an idea to produce a short promotional title (hopefully)
- for the upcoming CDISK conference. Our idea was to produce the
- CD-I disk on a 3" sized (CD-single) cd. This would fit easily into
- customer pockets and the sleeve would be printed with our business
- card.
-
- I find nothing in the green book that prohibits the 3" media and I have
- determined that the 3" disks (audio) will play in 910, 605, and 180
- CD-I players (if you use suitable adapters in the 180/605). I have
- also found out that Sony (who introduced/championed) the 3" disc
- may have a 3" worm burner but I can find no one who uses one.
-
- Is it possible that a 5.25" worm can be created and during pressing
- have the title contents transferred to the smaller media? Is
- it possible to create 3" CD-I discs?
