- How do I do host hiding...?
-
- I.e., if I have hosts "foo.bar.com" and "snow.bar.com", how do I get them
- to make outbound mail (mainly out of the domain bar.com) look like it's all
- from "user@bar.com"...?
-
- I'm suffering from a specific case of a host named "bar.bar.com" that's
- a Sun registered on the Internet as "bar.com" and without an alias for
- "bar.bar.com". And getting such an alias doesn't seem to be an option.
- The mail it generates is from "user@bar.bar.com" and is unrepliable (is
- that a word?!?!).
-
- In a broader sense, I need to do this to HP's, Suns and DECs all running
- the sendmail provided with each's operating system at near-current and
- current revisions.
-
- Thanks in advance!
