  23. is required.

  25. 2.  The postmaster is *extremely* good about answering mail.  I'm amazed that
  26. you didn't receive a reply.  Are you sure the mail arrived there?

  28. 3.  There have been no layoffs in IBM in over 50 years.  IBM is asking for
  29. voluntary retirement and relocation from some employees, many whom are enjoying
  30. the opportunity to bridge to retirement.  IBM has said that some lines of
  31. business may resort to layoffs if their lines of business can not be profitable
  32. otherwise.
