  13. Nothing prevents a mail reader or other application from generating a
  14. table of contents and keeping it with the message in some way.  On the
  15. other hand, having the sender generate a TOC obviates the need for
  16. embedding anything in the message itself.  This defeats much of the
  17. purpose of MIME's structure, doesn't it?
