- I'm curious about the state of the art for animating 2D objects.

- I'm asking, because I'd like to take some simple outline 'cartoons'
- and automatically create animation interpolation frames between starts
- and targets, using some sort of relatively realistic way of specifing
- things like pivot points, start/target pairs, and so on. Is there
- research, are there commercial packages, what can I see that has been
- produced this way.
