- Any modem will work in Australia. But it might not be legal, but who
- really cares about that.
- Here in Europe all modems must be approved by the phone company, like
- the FCC in the USA. In Switzerland it is even illegal to SELL unapproved
- modems, but of course they work perfectly. Only difference is the
- 220Volt plug, different phone plug and better BUSY signal detection (adapted
- for Switzerland).

- So all you really have to do is go to the store and buy a phone cable/plug and
- maybe a 220V to 110V adapter (does Australia use 220V or 110V??).
