  16. The ZyXEL spuports V.17 (Fax up to 14400 bps). It uses the Class 2
  17. interface (=not= the recently drafted Class 2.0 interface).
  18. The included software is not slick, but it's functional.

  25. playback functions. Caller ID in included in the "RING" message sent
  26. over the RS232 port.

  35. The ZyXEL's use generic Texas Instruments DSP chips which run code written
  36. by ZyXEL. General CPU functions are done by a 68000. They do =not= use the
  37. infamous Rockwell chipset.

  42. The ZyXEL's offer similar performance and more features than the expensive
  43. modems. They perform significantly better than the cheapies (zoom, supra,
  44. etc).
