- The ZyXEL spuports V.17 (Fax up to 14400 bps). It uses the Class 2
- interface (=not= the recently drafted Class 2.0 interface).

- The ZyXEL's use generic Texas Instruments DSP chips which run code written
- by ZyXEL. General CPU functions are done by a 68000. They do =not= use the
- infamous Rockwell chipset.

- modems. They perform significantly better than the cheapies (zoom, supra,
