- Yeah, sounds like the problem here about a year ago when they
- installed a xyplex server. the fix for us was to establish the connection
- with the proper host and then, before you sz *** (whatever), send a
- modem break (ctrl-END for most DTE software) and enter the following
- commands at the XYPLEX prompt...

- set session pasthru
- set port flow disable

- Then resume your host session and sz away! Ihave *NO* idea if this
- will work for you 'cause I have *NO* idea how close your setup is to this
- one, plus i know almost nothing about the tech. aspects of DCA boxes.
- Give this a shot if you haven't tried it already -- if this doesn't work,
- I'd also try disabling error correction and adaptive rate negotiation
- before you dial -- this seems to help sometimes, too.
