  23.     Yeah, sounds like the problem here about a year ago when they
  24. installed a xyplex server. the fix for us was to establish the connection
  25. with the proper host and then, before you sz *** (whatever), send a 
  26. modem break (ctrl-END for most DTE software) and enter the following
  27. commands at the XYPLEX prompt...

  29. set session pasthru
  30. set port flow disable
  31.  
  32.     Then resume your host session and sz away! Ihave *NO* idea if this 
  33. will work for you 'cause I have *NO* idea how close your setup is to this 
  34. one, plus i know almost nothing about the tech. aspects of DCA boxes.
  35. Give this a shot if you haven't tried it already -- if this doesn't work,
  36. I'd also try disabling error correction and adaptive rate negotiation
  37. before you dial -- this seems to help sometimes, too.
