- I'd like to warn people buying Digicom Scout+ internal modems. These modems
- don't work properly with 7 bits wordlength. When you set it to 7 bits and, for
- example, even parity, the modem will respond E71 and M71 with equal probability
- i.e. sometimes it misinterprets the parity for Mark instead of Even. Digicom is
- working on the problem.
