  12.  I'd like to warn people buying Digicom Scout+ internal modems. These modems
  13. don't work properly with 7 bits wordlength. When you set it to 7 bits and, for
  14. example, even parity, the modem will respond E71 and M71 with equal probability
  15. i.e. sometimes it misinterprets the parity for Mark instead of Even. Digicom is
  16. working on the problem.
