  35. Never heard or used any that you list.  You didn't mention the
  36. Intel FAXability software (DOS or WIN3).  I use it and it works
  37. great.  They also have FAXability/OCR.  This receives the fax
  38. document and optionally converts the FAX to a text file that you
  39. can later edit and resend via FAX or print.

  41. If you have access to a FAX machine, try using Intel's "FAXback"
  42. service.  It's real neat.  Basically you dial an 800 number,
  43. (800-525-3019) and follow the script and enter document numbers
  44. via the touch-tone pad.  There are hundreds of documents that 
  45. you can receive on any Intel product.

  47. You need to have you local fax number handy before you call.
  48. If you have a chance to try it out, ask for the following documents:

  55. You can only get five at a time and the catalog will give you
  56. an idea of what's available.

  58. BTW,  an addition feature of this free service:  Once you do get
  59. your fax modem and fax software, you can use this service to *test*
  60. the whole setup.  (ie, you don't have to have someone else fax you
  61. stuff while you figure out the proper configurations).
