  14. Subject line says most of it.  I've been following this group for a while
  15. and there doesn't seem to be a regular FAQ-list posting.  Is there a
  16. PD RDBMS for Unix that supports an SQL query language?

  18. (I know about Postgres, but want to prototype something by integrating
  19. my own system to an SQL server.  I will eventually move to using a commercial
  20. RDBMS system (which is why I want to stick with SQL as the initial query
  21. language), but for now want a cheap or free solution.  Right now
  22. performance is not a primary issue since you get what you pay for.
  23. However, I've learned about and have tried using shql, and it's clear I need
  24. more than a shell script SQL interpreter to do what I want to do.)
