- Subject line says most of it. I've been following this group for a while
- and there doesn't seem to be a regular FAQ-list posting. Is there a
- PD RDBMS for Unix that supports an SQL query language?
-
- (I know about Postgres, but want to prototype something by integrating
- my own system to an SQL server. I will eventually move to using a commercial
- RDBMS system (which is why I want to stick with SQL as the initial query
- language), but for now want a cheap or free solution. Right now
- performance is not a primary issue since you get what you pay for.
- However, I've learned about and have tried using shql, and it's clear I need
- more than a shell script SQL interpreter to do what I want to do.)
