  14.     Preliminary CALL FOR PAPERS and PARTICIPATION

  19. AI'93 will be held in Melbourne, Victoria during 17 - 19/11/93 
  20. with one day workshops and tutorials on 16/11/93. Paper submissions 
  21. are welcome from researchers in all fields of AI. The conference 
  22. will include presentation of refereed papers and invited talks. 
  23. The conference proceedings will be published in a book format. 
  24.  
  25. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
  26.     - Machine Learning and Knowledge Acquisition
  27.     - Cognitive Modeling
  28.     - Robotics & Vision
  29.     - Natural Language
  30.     - Automated Reasoning (scheduling, planning)
  31.     - Knowledge-based Systems
  32.     - Knowledge Representation
  33.     - Qualitative Reasoning
  34.     - Neural Networks & Genetic Algorithms
  35.     - Distributed AI

  37. PAPER FORMAT FOR REVIEW:

  39. Each submission must be clearly legible, with good quality print. 
  40. The body of the paper, including the abstract and references, must not
  41. exceed a total of sixteen double-spaced pages, formatted with a twelve 
  42. point font and one inch margins. Each paper must have a separate title 
  43. page including the postal addresses of all authors and e-mail addresses 
  44. if available, an abstract, and at least three keywords indicating the 
  45. problem area and general approach.

  47. REQUIREMENT FOR SUBMISSION:

  49. Authors must submit four copies of their papers by Friday,
  50. 28 May, 1993. Electronic or FAX submission is NOT acceptable.
