- Does anyone know why the lake is so green? I first noticed this when I came
- back to school this fall, and in my previous two years in Chicago it was
- distinctly more blue-gray. Is it a localized phenomenon? I live in the
- vicinity of 51st St. Microorganisms come to mind as a cause of the greenness,
- but I'm far from an expert on that sort of thing.
- Thanks for your ideas.
