  21. I have been following (at arm's length) the discussion on the new
  22. PKZIP (pkz204c.exe in the /msdos/zip directories at SIMTEL and
  23. mirrors) on the usenet group comp.compression. There has been a sort
  24. of bug-finding bonanza, and LOTS of comments like: (Q) Hasn't PKWare
  25. heard of beta testing? (A) Yes: we're the beta testers! I have tried
  26. it too, and it is fast. Some might want to be aware that there are
  27. still problems in the public release.
