- Greetings,
-
- Using NB4, I have just completed a rather extensive edit of the notes of a
- long (80 pp) document. I used the menu option to extract notes into
- side-by-side vertical columns (nice touch). The problem is that in trying to
- reinsert the notes, I get the unhelpful prompt "error inserting notes." I've
- checked the files CHAPTER.NF1 and CHAPTER.FN1, and they appear to be in order.
-
- Has anyone else had a similar experience. Have you been able to get the notes
- back in? BTW, the program mercifully retains the original document, so the
- only work I may have to redo is the editing of the footnotes (or I may be
- forced to manually cut and paste the edited notes into the original document).
