  16.     It has been our experience that most of our PC's have been solid
  17.     performers for 4-5 years w/o incident.  When things go bad, it
  18.     has been mostly hard drives; and chips on the highly integrated
  19.     motherboards that require outside service.

  21.     It took some time to obtain the PS/2 30 Advanced Diagnostics
  22.     Diskette with the LL formatter for the mod 30, which allowed us
  23.     to preserve several 30's for a longer life, with reduced hard
  24.     drive capacity.  We have a few XT's that keep humming right along.
