  16.   i picked up a big pair of goretex over-mittens at REI just
  17. prior to the recent Inundation.  70mph+ winds will drive small
  18. amounts of water through them and onto the leather gloves, but
  19. otherwise they worked great (on the days i remembered to wear
  20. them...).  they were about twelve bucks.
