  26.   Ripped off???   YOU paid 50 cents!  Fashion-conscious women today
  27.   are paying $300.   And YOU feel ripped off?

  29.   If you want to see rip offs off go to a Gap or Designs or some 
  30.   other Levi's outlet and notice how the more "pre-washed" or
  31.   "pre-damaged" the clothes are the more they cost.   I've been
  32.   wearing the same style of NON prewashed (the stiff blue kind),
  33.   straight leg Levi's blue jeans for 15 years -- I wait til 
  34.   Sears or someone runs a special sale on them then I buy a
  35.   half dozen or so.   Ditto with the rest of my clothes -- 
  36.   T shirts, sweatshirts, flannel shirts, sneakers (or hiking
  37.   boots for New England winters -- as I type this I'm
  38.   wearing a pair of Limmer boots I bought in 1978 -- it's
  39.   hard to buy boots these days that last 15 years, and 
  40.   these have decades of life left in them).

  42.   I make a ton more money now than when I was in college 20
  43.   years ago -- I own a house, my wife and I have a 6 figure
  44.   income, we just got back from Tahiti last month, etc, but
  45.   I dress the same as I have for two decades -- cheap, comfort-
  46.   able and functional.   Fashion is bullshit.   People who
  47.   concern themselves with it are idiots.
