  12. Back in the prehistorical 1960s, I belonged to the Manhattan Beach
  13. (California) Bodysurfing Club.  We bodysurfed in organized contests
  14. against the Gillis Beach Bodysurfing Club (Playa del Rey, California),
  15. the Newport Beach Bodysurfing Club, and a group assembled from around
  16. Huntington Beach and San Clemente.

  18. Are similar clubs still extant?  Also, if anyone remembers those
  19. Golden Oldies, or was a member, please get in touch:  my fondest
  20. memories are of my beachbum days, with lots of wine, women, and Wedge.
