- Back in the prehistorical 1960s, I belonged to the Manhattan Beach
- (California) Bodysurfing Club. We bodysurfed in organized contests
- against the Gillis Beach Bodysurfing Club (Playa del Rey, California),
- the Newport Beach Bodysurfing Club, and a group assembled from around
- Huntington Beach and San Clemente.
-
- Are similar clubs still extant? Also, if anyone remembers those
- Golden Oldies, or was a member, please get in touch: my fondest
- memories are of my beachbum days, with lots of wine, women, and Wedge.
