  15. Not that I'll never get stuck again, but today I'm feeling unstuck.  
  16. Thanks to those of you who responded when I was "stuck, stuck, stuck".

  18. Something that occurred to me as I read your posts and e-mail is that I
  19. need to be more aware of my grieving process and set more time aside to
  20. do that grieving.  I find that when I do, I get stuck less often and it
  21. lasts for a shorter time.  A much better situation all around.
  22.  
  23. Today is a beautiful day in Rochester -- 35 and sunny; an unusual state
  24. in the Frozen North.  I took my older daughter to the orthodontist's to
  25. have her braces removed.  My younger daughter is having a sleep-over with
  26. four friends to celebrate her 14th birthday (I'm baking the pizza).  My 
  27. son and I are working on his Pinewood Derby racer (he's sure he will win
  28. _this_ year).  Deborah and I played Scrabble and went to a movie last 
  29. night.

  31. It also would have been Bonnie's 38th birthday today.  That hurts.  
  32. This morning I sat at the foot of my bed and cried as I looked at her 
  33. picture.  I remembered the good birthday celebrations we had in years
  34. past, and I wished we were celebrating together today.
  35.  
  36. But life is good.  Good things continue to happen to me and my life is
  37. pleasing to me.  More and more I remember the good times Bonnie and I had
  38. and I think of how my life was improved from knowing her.  I smile more as
  39. I think of her and my life is easier than it was a few months ago.  There 
  40. will be hard times again -- there are sure to be -- but I'll make it OK.
