  12. I didn't know where to go. I was wondering if I could have someone's advice.
  13. Late last spring, I met Mike and things went well. He was, at that time, 
  14. withdrawn and sensitive to how others percieved him. He was also very kind and
  15. giving. 
  16.  You see, about three days ago was my birthday. He had been working in the lab
  17. the night before my birthday, and I went to see him, for a break, and during
  18. the conversation, somewhere --I don't know where-- the mood changed. The next
  19. day, he completely ignored my birthday - no card, no hug, no nuthin'!
  20. He later told me that something I had said to him the night before had offend-
  21. ed him and this this indifference was a sort of revenge.
  22. (He has since told me that he regrets that this happened, but has done nothing
  23. to change it.)
  24.  He tells me I'm paranoid, but I am genuinely hurt. 
  25.  If I should try to forget that he did that (HARD!!), how should I do it?

  27. There are a couple of things you should know:
  28.    1) Out of financial circumstances, we live together.
  29.    2) I plan to to move to the east coast soon, ah, but him....
  30.    3) I don't know where to go.
