- I'm a subscriber to Cosmo, so here's the blurb on Daniela (reprinted
- without permission, of course):
-
- * Homecoming
- "Recently, I went to see my parents in Czechoslovakia with J.J., my
- boyfriend. God knows how I made it over there - with all the presents
- I brought with me, plus my dogs, Oscar and Oliver. They're my
- responsibility, so I can't leave them behind just because I don't want
- to deal with the hassle. I love going home and eating my mom's cooking.
- People think Czechoslovakia is like other eastern European countries,
- where everybody waits in line for food. But that's not the case. Americans
- are so funny - they confuse Czechoslovakia with Yugoslavia, and they ask
- me how the fighting's going!"
-
- * Fear Of Success
- "How well I'm doing in this businness still amazes me. Two years ago, I
- could never have imagined living in New York in an apartment with a
- boyfriend and two dogs. The scary part is wondering whether I could leave
- it. It's hard imagining not being in the spotlight - I like seeing myself
- on covers and in TV commercials. Not that I seek attention when I go out.
- I don't put on extra makeup or do my hair. And you won't see me going to
- events with lots of paparazzi so I can have my picture taken. I never brag
- about being a model either = or about how much money I make, especially
- when I go back home. Most girls there dream about being models and traveling
- around the world. They get a little jealous of my job."
-
- * Oh, Baby
- "Even though J.J. and I are only living together, I pretty much think of
- myself as married to him - I mean, we've been together two and a half years.
- He's thirty and I'm twenty-two, but I like the age difference. Boys my own
- age don't know what they want from life, aren't ready to commit. J.J.'s
- able to take care of me, makes me feel safe. And I like playing housewife.
- I'm not home much, so when I am, I love cooking, doing the laundry, and
- ironing his clothes. I could see us having babies in a couple of years. My
- parents married young and had me when they were about twenty-two. I feel
- ready to settle down - I don't need to get any wildness out of my system."
