  14. Dear Reader,
  15.  
  16.   All of us need to be aware of the dangers which the Occult
  17. present to our Families and our Country.  Our society tends
  18. to be complacent about activities which, upon moderate
  19. scrutiny, prove to be patently occult in nature.  If we fail
  20. to identify and root out these abominations, we will be
  21. judged accordingly.
  22.  
  23.   I have been alarmed to see the ascendancy of a strange
  24. mid-eastern cult throughout America.  The perverse thing
  25. about this cult is that it isn't just "fringy" or "kook"
  26. types who are embracing this false belief, but much of
  27. mainstream America.  In fact, historians have uncovered
  28. records indicating that many of our own Founding Fathers
  29. were adherants to this religion--more often than not openly
  30. and unabashedly so before their peers!
  31.  
  32.   This sect revolves around a familiar theme--a strange and
  33. savage god with a lust for blood sacrifice.  But I'm not
  34. talking about kids sacrificing kittens in the public parks,
  35. or Satan-worshipers sacrificing babies delivered to their
  36. hands by "breeder" members--such things ARE horrific and to
  37. be opposed with all our strength.  The cult I'm referring to
  38. is not enjoined by mere handsful of disaffected and misled
  39. youth--we're talking about America's Men of Business,
  40. Housewives, 4-H Club members, Boy Scouts, Debutantes, plain
  41. old Folks down the street--many of them true pillars of our
  42. society--and their offspring!  That this should be happening
  43. in America is unthinkable, yet it's happening while we
  44. slumber!  We must wake up!  But I get ahead of myself.
  45.                
  46.   This cult pays it obesiences to an ancient patriarch "god"
  47. of an eastern tribe of beleaguered people.  In times past,
  48. this god enforced a boroque set of laws which, among other
  49. things, served to ensure a steady diet of blood for it's
  50. hoary appetite.  Not content to maintain it's hegemony among
  51. this hapless tribe, it made a shocking bid for ascendancy
  52. among the rest of the world's people, many of whom would
  53. understandably have trouble swallowing the somber requisite
  54. of the blood-spattered altar.  How it accomplished this--and
  55. the implications for our own Country--are going to shock
  56. you.  I hope you're prepared for what is to follow.
  57.  
  58.   It is a testimony to the foresight of this ambitious god
  59. that he anticipated the intransigence of the potential human
  60. follower when faced with ritualistic slaughter as one of the
  61. canons of faith.  This god designed a "tradeoff": He stood
  62. to lose the continued ritual sacrifice of animals to his
  63. name.  But he stood to gain a following throughout the
  64. World.  He did this by exchanging the literal murder of
  65. innocent animals with . . . this is going to be rough . . .
  66. the murder of the flesh-and-spirit SON of the god, himself.
  67. The ultimate slaughter of the ultimate innocent!
  68.  
  69.   So this god replaces literal sacrificial murder with a
  70. metaphoric sacrificial murder.  If having to appease a god
  71. by putting the knife to an animal rubs you the wrong way, no
  72. worry; you are invited to ride the coattails of the
  73. sacrifice of this abominable god's own Son!  By recognizing
  74. the slaughter of this one man, you are absolved of having to
  75. personally undertake your own slaughtering!
  76.  
  77.   But these people are fooling themselves!  If they think
  78. blood sacrifice has been "sanitized" by this ultimate
  79. sacrifice, they've got another think coming!  This is the
  80. devil's own lie!  These people are partaking of blood
  81. sacrifice as sure as are the chanting, paint-clad
  82. witchdoctors in Papua New Guinea.  This god is as thirsty
  83. for blood as ever, and can now sate his thirst in a new
  84. World "market" of sheeplike followers ready and willing to
  85. swear allegence to the god who can best afford them the most
  86. clean and wholesome version of good ol' down-and-dirty pagan
  87. blood sacrifice.  How perfectly suitable for America's
  88. Middle Class!!!  How hideously contrived by forces which can
  89. only be characterized as sinister in nature!  The most
  90. sinister part is: That people are buying this plan,
  91. wholesale!!!  It's being actualized in the hearts and minds
  92. of millions of otherwise decent and noble human beings!
  93. Human sacrifice!  In our homes, in our schools, and . . .
  94. yes!  EVEN IN OUR CHURCHES!
  95.  
  96.   Well, I've gone on long enough.  I hope I have made this
  97. issue, difficult though it is to broach, foremost in the
  98. minds of those of us sincerely interested in the furtherance
  99. of the cause of honor and decency in our Country.
