- Hi, there,
-
- I think alt.recovery is a dandy place to talk about codependency
- issues. In fact, it used to be a much broader arena for discussion
- than it seems to be these days.
-
- As a non-chemically-dependent person who participates in 12-step
- groups from time to time, I celebrate the diversity of opinions and
- sharing that can take place, regardless of the meaning in the * of
- *A (something anonymous). I recall a year or so back, that there
- was heavy discussion on this bb regarding incest survivorhship, for
- example.
-
- Alt.recovery is _not_ AA. It just happens that at the moment, many
- of the posts are from people who are working their hardest on
- sobriety, one day at a time. In the past, we have heard from people
- with co-dependency problems.
-
- My vote would be to suggest that anyone who has recovery-related
- materia, t(even codependency stuff) to try sharing it here and see
- what happens. I suspect that a lot of readers of this bb would be
- interested, and able, to share thoughts on a broad range of recovery
- issues.
