  14. I think alt.recovery is a dandy place to talk about codependency
  15. issues.  In fact, it used to be a much broader arena for discussion
  16. than it seems to be these days.

  18. As a non-chemically-dependent person who participates in 12-step
  19. groups from time to time, I celebrate the diversity of opinions and
  20. sharing that can take place, regardless of the meaning in the * of
  21. *A (something anonymous).  I recall a year or so back, that there
  22. was heavy discussion on this bb regarding incest survivorhship, for
  23. example.

  25. Alt.recovery is _not_ AA.  It just happens that at the moment, many
  26. of the posts are from people who are working their hardest on
  27. sobriety, one day at a time.  In the past, we have heard from people
  28. with co-dependency problems.

  30. My vote would be to suggest that anyone who has recovery-related
  31. materia, t(even codependency stuff) to try sharing it here and see
  32. what happens.  I suspect that a lot of readers of this bb would be
  33. interested, and able, to share thoughts on a broad range of recovery
  34. issues.
