  24. When I took out a car loan, and also when I moved into my apartment, I 
  25. had to sign forms allowing the credit reporting agency to release
  26. this info to the lending institution and apartment complex, respectively.
  27. Can the prospective employer run such a credit check without your signing 
  28. a similar form?
