- I am always amazed with the fertile minds of christianity, who are never
- deterred no matter how silly their claims may be to prove the scriptural
- prophecies (e.g., Daniel 9:25-27) foretelling about Jesus. In order to
- prove that the verses in Daniel did really fulfill the role played by
- Jesus, Vijay suggested that we count the 69x7=483 years from the 20th
- year of Artaxerxes's ruling, i.e., 445 B.C.E, and count the years as
- comprising of 360 days; now here is Ruben Gonzales (posted by Laura)
- who says no, we should count solar years from 457 B.C.E. and 3.5 years.
- Let the messianic christians sort out their problems, as to which version
- to accept (and there are quite a few other such theories, each contradicting
- other ones), before they sell the "Messiah=Jesus-tablets" to those of us
- who are unconvinced as to the truth of such prophesies. Good luck.
