- master locks have been worthless, in my not-so-recent experience
- for anything *other* than gym lockers or the like.

- the shackle is easily cut with a hacksaw or bolt cutters.

- the warded ones can be opened with a cut down key.

- the pin-tumbler ones can be relatively easily picked, once you get over
- the looseness of the core within the cylinder. they're only 4-5 pins.

- to remove it) almost any locksmith can make you a key by code which will
- reopen the lock.
