- Who were you in "Harvey"? I was an electrician, so I didn't have parts in our
- school shows, but I probably knew them better than anyone since I had cues
- everywhere. We did a variety show every fall, a one-act for competition in the
- winter, (my junior year, '91, we won states) and then a "spring play" which was
- full production. We did "Mr. Flannery's Ocean" (hysterically funny and also
- heartbreakingly sad) and "St. Patrick's Day" (memorable quote: "St. Patrick's
- health! Your Honor's health! STRONG BEER FOREVER!") for one -acts, and then
- "Charlotte's Web" (Charlotte mixed up her words during the matinee, putting up
- terrific before Some Pig, throwing the entire show into confusion) and "Harvey"
- (see, I DID have a point) for Spring Plays. The only time I was ever ON the
- stage was for the variety shows; my band was in three of them.
-
- I could tell stage stories forever.
