- LaBerge's spinning technique is for when you've already been lucid for
- a while, but are starting to lose it. I don't think it's been used for
- stabilizing initial lucidity. Trying to use it for that might make things
- worse.

- If you are feeling "intense fear" over ANYTHING, you are much more likely
- to wake up. What is so scary about waking up too soon? Frustration, I
- can understand. "Intense fear" sounds a little exaggerated.

- Still, it sounds like you're in a bind. People's first few attempts at
- lucidity often stumble. Just cut yourself a little slack, enjoy your
- dreams for what they are, lucid or not, and don't get too excited or
- frustrated about it.
