- Religious people commonly think that necessary things of life
- originate from their religion. There were people, for example,
- who thought that the sun would not rise unless they performed
- certain religious ritual every morning. In a sense, things
- have not changed much since then. Today, many people engage
- themselves in religious rituals of acknowledging some imaginary
- being for the creation and sustainment of the sun and other
- things of life. What is referred to as "morality" is of no
- exception. That is, order and predictability in human behavior,
- certain amount of which is beneficial for sustaining a stable
- and productive society, is also thought to have originated from
- their religion.
