- Other than the terribly obivious Abraham and Isaac story, there's the gospel:
- the father created a batch of creatures in a petri dish called earth, and they
- started acting badly. His solution, have his own son tortured and killed.
- You see, someone has to suffer, and this father preferred that it be his son
- rather than these creatures. Some call it love. I call it revolting.

- Oh yes, the son was also God. So God had to be tortured and killed because
- these created things acted badly. They still do. But religions whose followers
- beleive that God was actually tortured and killed in case they might behave
- badly has an exaggerated opinion of humans and a depressingly grovelling opinion
- of God.
