  22.    The meaning of the beginning of this paragraph is unclear to me.
  23. By "that assertion" you say the Catholic Church agrees with, do you
  24. mean the other poster's premise about sperm/egg being the same as
  25. embryo, or your not buying that premise.  The Catholic Church
  26. certainly does not teach that the two are the same, but rather that a
  27. human life begins at conception (when it is no longer a sperm/egg).
