  21. along this same path, but a thought crossed my synapse:

  23. Angst is many things to many different people.  In many many forms (yawn so far)
  24.  
  25. I think angst, as seen by a particular population out here, mas much to do with
  26. an obsession with the flesh, and excretory functions in general.  The conflict
  27. arises from observable clashes between 1) where we stand on the path to sexual/
  28. pseudo-sexual satisfaction, and 2) where we expect to be.

  30. Now then, I'm not a Freudian imp suggesting that the guy who lost his job and
  31. wife and friends is actually experiencing SEXUAL frustrations.  It's deeper
  32. than that.  But in any case, we can see that some of the younger crowd here
  33. focus on what mr. duke (for example) might call 'teenie-bopperism'.  Then,
  34. maybe the more "serious" problems and angst of the older crowd may be somehow
  35. tied to more complex patterns of sexual frustration.  Maybe.

  37. Sublimation?  Who knows.  For now, I'm too busy to think about it.  Don't
  38. assume that I stand by my accusations.  I'm not into that.
