- today or I'd have missed all the lovely misrepresentation

- I suggested that since Booth was incapable of writing anything
- worthwhile, and likewise incapable of getting nearly anything
- simply right no matter how simple the matter, he ought to
- attend more to his studies as it would be more profitable
- for him and everyone else than if he posted to the net. As
- I recall I was making at that time a sincere suggestion since
- I was beginning to feel very sorry for the boy. He really was
- making the most awful fool of himself. When he left I was
- hopeful that he had taken my suggestion seriously and was
- spending the time profitably. I see from the newsgroups
- involved in this that he just went off to play with the
- dittoheads.
