- Depends on how early, and how hard it is to stop it. Around here, we
- use either Yutopar or Terbutalin to halt early labor. Yutopar is about
- 1 1/2 times as effective, and about 6 times as expensive. It also has
- considerably fewer (and less severe) side effects. Assume we've got to
- hold off labor for 2 months. Expect to spend a couple weeks at least
- of that 2 months in the hospital. Doctors fees, drugs etc, it'll
- probably run $3000, and higher if it's difficult to halt (or keep
- halted).

- Depends on how pre-term. $400-500,000 is not uncommon at all. I'd say
- $250-350,000 is about average for most NICU babies.

- If it's planned, it runs (in this area) $3000-5000 for doctors fees,
- hospital costs etc. Emergency C-sections run about double.

- Assuming no complications, about $2000-3000.

- These are all out of my area, although neurology is my wifes
- speciality. According to her, a week in the neuro unit, plus
- associated doctors fees will be about $10,000 or more.
- Somebody else will have to tackle the others, I don't do gunshots. :)
