-
- RCAR - RELIGIOUS COALITION FOR ABORTION RIGHTS
- 100 Maryland Ave. NE, Ste. 307
- Washington, DC 20002
- Founded: 1973. Members: 35. Staff: 9
- State Groups: 25 Religious organizations.
-
- CFFC - CATHOLICS FOR FREE CHOICE
- 1436 U St. NW, No. 301
- Washington, DC 20009
- Founded 1973. No Membership or Staff sizes provided.
-
- Information obtained from the _Encyclopedia of Associations_, 27th Edition,
- 1993.
-
- :
- : And how about posting documentation that these people are not atheists?
-
- From the Summer 1991 _Journal of Church and State_ (Vol. 33, No. 3), RCAR was
- formed "... under the auspices of the United Methodist General Board of Church
- and Society ...". This is an informative article about RCAR's efforts in the
- area of abortion legislation.
-
- From the 1993 _Encyclopedia of Associations_, CCFS is made up of "Catholics
- within the Roman Catholic church who support the right to legal reproductiove
- health care, especially to family planning and abortion."
-
- :
- : Anyone can call themselves "Religious" and "Catholic" [note absence of

-
- I didn't choose their name.

- I wonder if Mr. Nyikos will apologize for this unwarranted aspersion on my
- character. In the short time that I have been posting to the net, I have twice
- been called on to support my claims. The first time, I was wrong in what I
- stated and I posted a retraction. This time, I have provided the information
- requested. Mr. Nyikos should not be so quick to attribute his own failings
- to those with whom he disagrees.
