  19. Excellent point. I would add, though, that the same applies to pro-choicers.

  22. pro-force" because I spend a fair amount of time arguing AGAINST various 
  23. specious arguments for pro-choice and/or against pro-life, such as
  24.  
  25.     o  "abortion can be handled as strictly a medical issue"
  26.  
  27.     o  "legislation is distinguishable from morality" / "morality 
  28.        should not be legislated"
  29.  
  30.     o  "the collective has no (moral(?)) right to abrogate the legal 
  31.        rights of an individual"
  32.  
  33.     o  "a fetus has no value whatsoever"
  34.  
  35.     o  "a fetus is just a parasite"
  36.  
  37.     o  "a fetus is just a part of the woman's body"
  38.  
  39.     o  "a fetus is no different than a cancer"
  40.  
  41.     o  "pro-life is inherently a religious view"
  42.  
  43.     o  "pro-life is inherently misogynistic"
  44.  
  45.     o  "restrictive abortion laws violate Equal Protection"
  46.  
  47.     o  "deadly self-defense is generally permissible against rape"
  48.  
  49.     o  "abortion is not 'murder' in any sense, because it's currently 
  50.        legal"

  52. This is just a sampling of things that make pro-choice look foolish, and which
  53. I have therefore attacked. Just call me Mr. Pro-Choice Quality Control :-)
