  25. you cannot expect everyone to read your posts with the same attention that
  26. you might take to write them. There are just too many posts to read.

  28. The way it looks to me, rON attacked an idea of yours. Granted he used
  29. strong language, but I did not see him attacking you as a person.

  31. You, on the other hand, in addition to pointing out that he misunderstood 
  32. you (which is fine), attacked him personally, making a lot of unwarranted 
  33. guesses about what kind of person he is.

  35. Personally I prefer it when people disagree about ideas and avoid turning 
  36. discussions into name-calling matches.

  45. The biggest problem with making a personal attack on the net is that it often
  46. seems to describe the person who is writing it more than the person to whom it
  47. is directed.
