- I have an example for you. My x-husband and I (married 15 years) broke up 2
- Years ago....This summer we made a deal.....we would go for one month we would
- try it again...see how it was....give it one last shot (we were both having
- trouble letting go). After two years of being apart we had both followed our
- own personal interest and actually grown into two separate people. Even
- though we still loved each other there was no way in hell it was going to work
- . With other people we could be ourselves....we could express ourselves as
- the people we had grown to be during those two years apart...but together it
- was the same old shit..the same old arguments the same old jealousy's..we
- tried to be different...we tried to treat each other with the respect we
- treated others but it was practically impossible to avoid that same old rut we
- had built over the years.......from what I have seen with myself and others if
- two people don't work the first time they won't work the time. All through
- our lives things may change but in our hearts and our souls we stay the same.
- You always come back to who you are and who you are never changes. If two
- people aren't right now....that wont change later. Of course that's just an
- opinion......
