  37. Gay bashings happen a lot. Call your local police station, get the
  38. hate crimes statistics (if you happen to be in a place that's lucky
  39. enough to collect statistics about hate crimes against lesbigays).
  40. Check out Colorado, for instance - they're reporting a huge increase
  41. in hate crimes in the wake of CO-2. (My source? That tool of the
  42. homosexual conspiracy, Macneil-Lehrer.)

  44. Second of all, I don't care if gay bashing is done by lots of people
  45. or a few people. It happens, and it's evil. Worse, it's accepted by a
  46. lot of people, including the police in many cases.

  49. being queer, one friend of mine had the brake lines cut on his car,
  50. another friend had the brake lines cut, his front door smashed in, his
  51. house burgalarized twice, numerous death threats, etc.

  54. was not paranoia, this was not a political statement - it was basic
  55. safety. Because I am gay, I am a target. If that's not enough for you,
  56. well then, we don't seem to have much to talk about.
