-
- In the three years that my partner and I have been together, we've finally come
- to an agreement over our respective diets. I am a vegetarian and he is quite the
- carnivore.
-
- I am vegetarian more for health reasons than because of ethical reasons. We were
- both brought up on meat and potatoes, so for him it has become a necessity.
-
- For our meals, its usually two entrees, one meat and one meat-less. My dinner usually
- becomes a side dish for him. I am fortunate in that he does like his vegetables and
- once a week will eat a totally meatless meal, but respect his desire for beef, pork.
-
- Since this is more for health reasons, I have no problems in preparing our meals, and
- once in a great while, a good filet looks very tempting.
