  24. Oh much more vicious.  It's the feeling of joy at another's
  25. misfortune.  In the *faaabulous* new Oxford Book of Quotations
  26. (thank you, Santa :-)), there's an interesting example of the
  27. reverse emotion, in a quote of Gore Vidal's that goes
  28. approximately, "When I hear of a friend's success, a little
  29. part of me dies."
