  12. So I was visiting an old high school friend while here in Houston.
  13. I've been friends with him since we were fourteen. He's straight, and
  14. he's very gay-friendly. He was very supportive when I was coming out.

  16. So I was at his apartment, with his fiancee, and we were watching The
  17. Burning Bed. (Groovy movie, btw.) We'd just seen the scene where the
  18. cop won't help Farrah Faucett press murder charges against her abusive
  19. husband. And my friend's fiancee, angry at the character, yells at the
  20. screen "faggot! You should help her, you wimp."
