  22. Well, the story of the relationship between Jonathan and David is
  23. in the books of 1st and 2nd Samuel. In particular, the quote from David's
  24. lamentation over his death (II Samuel 1:26) is often read as telling:
  25. "...greatly beloved were you to me; your love to me was wonderful,
  26. passing the love of women."
