- Which is not an argument against taking steps to ensure that the space feels
- safer than not. Think of it like a "neighborhood watch"; arguably one does
- not have the *right* to safe streets (at least this is the case de facto, if
- not de jure), but one can fight to make them safe, and it is this effort and
- determination which helps ensure it. If Cramer and others want to pollute
- this newsgroup, as is their "right", that does not mean that anyone here
- has to accept this intrusion as normative; let them respond by exercising
- their own "rights" in return.
