  26.     Last weekend I went to see the "Holiday Survival Game Show" a Christmas
  27. tradition in lesbigay Seattle.  To choose the contestants for the 
  28. "Family Values Show" a short Newlywedish sort of game in the middle,
  29. all of the couples in the audience were asked to stand.  (I looked, every
  30. couple at my showing was gay.)

  32.     Then they had only the ones who'd been together
  33. more than a year stand, then two years, then 5....  They finally ended up
  34. with a lesbian couple 14+years and aa gay male couple 12+ years together,
  35. but the fun was in seeing all the couples who had made it multiple years
  36. together.  There was spontaneous applause when there were still 6 couples
  37. standing at the 10 year point.

  39. One of the nicest parts of a wonderful theatre experience (those who have
  40. seen it will understand why I couldn't quite call it a play...)
