  61. > the Personnel Director, Marilyn Sherman, have found a legal loophole

  63. > which they contrived to terminate my health insurance--ostensibly as a

  65. > cutting measure.  At the end of this semester, my COBRA insurance
  66. extension
  67. > will terminate and I will be both uninsured and, worse yet, virtually
  68. un-
  69. > insurable.  I will be forced to seek medical attention from the County
  70. of
  71. > Los Angeles.

  73. > The critical issue for me has always been access to the insurance
  74. promised; I
  75. > have offered repeatedly to pay 100 percent of the cost myself.  To the

  77. > of Otis's administration, Dean Workman and Ms. Sherman fail to see the
  78. > ethical aspect of this situation, and have, in fact, retained legal
  79. counsel
  80. > at a cost far in excess of the 25 percent they had previously co-paid
  81. > toward the cost of my insurance.  Let me restate that: I paid 75
  82. percent of
  83. > the cost of my insurance premium.  Their contribution has amounted to
  84. only a
